Saints beat Stockport today, with goals from Jamie Hatch and Michael Byrne, to earn a 4th round match with Manchester Utd.
This cup has been good to Saints the last two years but not once have they gone on to win it. Two years ago they reached the final but lost out to Ipswich. And last year they reached the semi’s but were beat in a heartbreaking penalty shootout against Liverpool.
They will be looking not to repeat that heartbreak and march into the 5th round of the F.A Youth Cup.
The match will be played at the home of non-league Hyde United’s ground Ewen Fields on Wednesday 17 January. Kick-off 19:00 GMT.
