Talking after the game, the Saints coach described the display as, ‘the most professional performance of the season.’
The team was a blend of youth and more senior Academy products combined to see off a Fulham team with a host of international players involved.
The game turned out to be a really good workout and though chances were missed the Saints youngsters won through a Ben Reeves goal.
The Fulham Keeper had a great game as he stopped several good shots/attempts on his goal. FT 0-1.
