Schneiderlin in team of the week

Schneiderlin’s return from injury last week has helped the Saints pick up four points from their last two games.

His impact in both 1-1 draw at home to Coventry and the emphatic comeback at Deepdale has resulted in the Frenchman being named in the Championship team of the week.

The talented midfielder who turns 19 this week, came to St. Mary’s in the summer, costing £1.2 million from French side RC Strasbourg.

His return to the side helped the young Saints team record their finest victory away to Preston last Saturday with Schneiderlin playing the whole 90 minutes.
