The Southampton Official Site has stated that the sales have already surpassed the total sold for last season’s games. So far the total sold has reached and passed the 13,000 mark.
This is good news for the club and shows clearly that the feel good factor is still alive and kicking. Improving from the roughly 12,000 we sold last season, this emphasises the faith we have in our chairman and the manager.
After such a finish to the season last time round we have high hopes of being able to improve on that this season, with the strengthening that we have already seen.
Not that the team will need to improve by much to attain the heights required by Chairman Nicola Cortese on behalf of our owner Markus Liebherr.
It is almost an unheard of feeling for us Saints fans to have such high hopes but have them we certainly do.
