Captained by James Ward-Prowse who had played for the first team at the weekend, the youngsters fell behind thanks to a headed goal by Oscar Threlkeld.
Saints were unlucky with the ball cleared off the line and also had a header hitting the cross-bar.
The second half saw the Saints youngsters draw level with a goal from the impressive Corby Moore. The game being won thanks to a Jake Sinclair goal.
So the good run continues and Saints youngsters now have to wait to see whether they play Wigan Athletic or Nottingham Forest in the 5th round.
This game will be played tomorrow night so at least we will be able to make plans soon.
