Saints reserves beat there Brighton counter parts 2-1 last night in what was Saints reserves 7th successive win in the Pontins Holiday Combination League.

Jamie White, the Harefield striker scored the winner on the hour mark after cutting in from the right, dodging three tackles and then smashing the ball into the top corner with his left foot from the edge of the box.

White, the former pupil of Woodlands Community School on the edge of Harefield, started up front with Cedric Baseya, who got a goal of his own early in the first half.

Once saints were 2-0 to the good it never looked like they were going to lose it, although Brighton`s Elder did head one past returning Bartosz Bialkowski in the 63rd minute.

This was Saints reserves 7th successive win in the successive Pontins Holiday Combination League.

The game also saw the return of Nathan Dyer who came through 45 minutes un- harmed and David Prutton got a run out which will help boost his fitness.
