Midfielder Victor Wanyama has possibly confirmed that a fee has been agreed between Southampton and Celtic for his services, but a deal is far from done.
Speaking to the press the 21 year old midfielder who has also courted interest from Cardiff City, said.
‘Yes, my club have agreed terms with Southampton but I will also have to agree terms too. I am only hearing this from the media, but I can say the deal is far from being complete.’
Whether that means he’s heard from the media that a fee has been agreed or he means a fee has been agreed but he only knew of Southampton’s interest from the media remains to be seen.
Could be a very good addition to our midfield if a deal can be pulled off.
Reports suggest the fee could be in the region of £10million.
