Saints got back in the game with a superb second half performance. Stern John’s superb volley made it 3-1 and he got another a few minutes later, to make the last half a nervy one for the puny gathering of home supporters. Mustering only 19,000, despite having a buy one get one free offer and flying high in the league. But nevertheless it’s seems that Paul Gregg, a former Everton director is in talks of a takeover.
Gregg was born 1941 and has been linked with previous takeover’s since leaving Everton.
