His first game for the Saints came with a solid looking display away at Gillingham. He showed the confidence of youth and was generally reported as having a steady first game.

He thought that he did well in the air and knowing that the forwards were speedy he gave himself an extra yard to accommodate that speed.

Though satisfied with his overall performance, he admitted that the players, were bigger, stronger and quicker than he was used to playing against.

At the beginning of the season Aaron was an Eattleigh player and came for a trial after Saints had been told about him. He impressed during the trial and the rest is now history.

After he had settled in he was loaned out to Salisbury where he played 14 games for the Whites. Former Saint Tommy Widdrington is their manager and he has added to the chorus of praise that the youngster is receiving.

The lad seems to have a good head on his shoulder and has shown a willingness to listen. With the likes of Fonte, Jaidi and Perry about he has plenty of experience to call on for any assistance as and when required.

Welcome to the club Aaron and long may we be calling your name.
