With the growing speculation that Nigel Adkins will be the first casualty of the Premier League, he’s said he’s not bothered by it and he and the club share the same vision.

Speaking to the BBC Adkins said of the rumours.

‘It doesn’t affect me, I don’t read the newspapers. I’ve got a great working relationship with the chairman here. We have an excellent working relationship and we share the same common goal. We drive each other on. If you’re looking over your shoulder your mind is going to be affected, so I don’t even think about that.’

Ridiculous to be talking about changing managers at this stage, especially given who we have played. It was always going to take time to adjust to the league and we have – bar Arsenal – given a very good account of ourselves so far and results will come.
