Maya Yoshida is targeting three points against Villa, after his baptism of fire against Arsenal.
Quoted in the Daily Echo the Japanese international said he was confident that Saints would be better as they look to wipe the Arsenal memories away.
‘In the first half, I played not so good especially as the third goal was my mistake. The second half I began to show my skills of bringing it from the back and I have confidence that I can play in the Premier League. That was my debut and I am not looking forward to playing at St Mary’s.’
It was certainly an introduction for the lad, so he’ll be out to prove a point himself following the result.
