Steven Davis has talked about his fond memories of his time at Aston Villa, but said they will play no part this weekend with Southampton looking to get points on the board.
Speaking to saintsfc ahead of this weekends game, the midfielder said.
‘I was 16 when I joined them and had some good times there, but that’s all in the past. There’s no room for sentiment in football. I’m a Southampton man now and we need to beat Villa to get our season up and running. I would just love to get on the scoresheet again, this time for Southampton.’
