Nigel Adkins has said that pre season so far is shaping up to be a good test for the players as they regain fitness and work on tactics for the coming season.
Speaking to saintsfc Adkins explained after the game against Etoile Carouge.
‘We are pleased with how the week is going. We are working on different formations at the moment. We are very pleased with a lot of the things we have done, we had a lot of the football and we did pass it about. We have worked on rotations. Jason Puncheon did ever so well in the first half, and I must say Ward-Prowse had an outstanding game. All in all it was a good workout.’
