Calum Chambers has again been brought into the England U19 squad, but this time he’s joined by first timer Jordan Turnbull.
Chambers has been a regular at the U19 level for his country, but 18 year old Turnbull’s first call up comes after a very impressive season for our U21 side.
The UEFA Elite Round games determine which countries will qualify for the 2013 UEFA European U19 Championship which this time round takes place in Lithuania during the months of July and August.
England find themselves in Group 6 alongside Scotland, Georgia and Belgium.
The four teams face each other just the once and are scheduled as follows.
England v Georgia May 24th – 6pm
England v Belgium May 26th – 7pm
England v Scotland May 29th – 6pm.
All the games take place in Belgium as they have been designated the hosts for Group 6 games.
