17 year old Welsh International Gareth Bale is in need of a rest according to Saints gaffer George Burley.
Speaking to the Echo Burley said: ‘Ideally I’d like to rest young Gareth at the moment.
‘Speaking to him, he feels mentally and physically drained at the moment.
‘But it’s difficult because he’s such a good player and these last eight games are so crucial to us’.
