Critchell to Chesterfield

Chesterfield are set to sign Southampton player Kyle Critchell this week.

Critchell is close to agreeing a permanent deal to take him to Chesterfield that will keep him there until the end of the season.

Kyle Critchell, who turns 20 tomorrow, has struggled as yet to break into the saints first team set up so this permanent switch could be just what he needs to gain experience

Chesterfield boss Roy McFarland speaking to the clubs web site said ‘Kyle can play in defence or midfield and is right or left footed, clearly all attributes that can bring greater flexibility for our small squad,’
