Lightening quick winger Nathan Dyer is aiming to become a permanent fixture in George Burley`s first team this season, after an inconsistent time last campaign.

The 19 year old, another player to come from the Saints academy production line, only made 9 starts last season. He told the Daily Echo that “I know if I play my heart out, I will get my reward.”

Gaffer Burley has insisted that the talented youngster is still in his first team plans; but did admit he may send Dyer out on loan for more regular football next season. He said, “We’ll look at it for next season and whether we feel playing regular somewhere would progress his development better.”
