POLAND International Marek Saganowski has teamed up with Southampton for a 2 day trial.
He is currently playing for Troyes but has failed to impress, only making six appearances.
But Burley is a fan of the striker, having previously made a £350,000 bid for him while at Hearts.
He has also previously had a trial at Watford.
Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd said: ‘We won’t be taking him. I got a call from an agent who told me he had a player he thought I might be interested in.
‘But I had a look at him and he wasn’t at the level I’m after’.
