Saints need a good result at QPR

Unfortunately over the last month or so Saints have dropped needed points and put in some diserpointing performances.

A series of lacklustre performances in the past six or seven games has seen them slip behind the automatic promotion places. Indeed one has to surmise that should Saints lose at QPR and Derby County win, then a 10 point gap is going to be very hard to make up.

But even more worryingly, the chasing pack are up our rear end, even a draw in London could see us drop out of the play off spots and frankly that just isn’t acceptable.

But it is our fault. Many times this season we have lost a lead in the last minute or drawn against beatable sides.

In truth it’s because we are too complacent and the side needs to be freshened up. Too many players are sure of their place. I dont accept the injury scenario as an excuse, even with this long list we still have the scope to put out a strong side, take last week. Why was David McGoldrick played out of position. There were better more experienced players for that spot, but they werent played.

Saints now desperately need a win at Loftus Road to keep the momentum to the promotion campaign alive.

Saints will take 3000 fans to QPR to support the Saints and probably get the atmosphere rocking (providing the team play their part)so…
