The big centre back is confident that the team can make a concerted play for promotion next year.

He wants the management and players that remain to remember how disappointed they felt once they knew that the target had not been met.

He told the Saints player, ‘For me it was a good season although the big disappointment was us failing to reach the play-offs. People will say we had a good season but it is quite hard to accept that we didn’t do it.’

He added that though they did quite well over all, he felt that next season was going to be as hard. ‘We’re going to start preparing from now, even if it is the holidays for us, because we have to concentrate on that.

Technically he feels the team is unstoppable. Though there is a big difference between talking the talk and doing the walk. We have to concentrate on all of the games he stressed.

Radhi was pleased to play in the last game and is really looking forward to next season. He was pleased to see the team win as it let the fans go on holiday with high hopes for the future.

The team has done well, in my mind, this season and like the players I am slightly disappointed by our failure to reach the play-offs.

Like Jaidi though I am excited by the thought of what lies ahead. We will need to hit the ground running though if we are going to do well next season.
