When Saints travelled north to play tranmere last season they were unbeaten in 2010 and looking at getting into the play-offs.

Tranmere won 2-1 and the wheels started to come off, but this time round Kelvin says that the team is better prepared for the trips to places like tranmere.

Kelvin said to Sints Player, We know exactly what it’s going to be like. We’ve experienced it once before and been on the end of a performance and a defeat. So we’re going there with a mindset where we fully understand what’s going to be there, and we’re looking to put ourselves into a positive position.’

this time, he added, that the team isn’t trying to play catch up and that they are well in the mix. It is still about getting a positive performance though and as Kelvin says it is now about staying in the top two or three positions.

With Tranmere fighting for points to stay in the league Kelvin says that the team knows it will have to fight for the win.

Sounds good and hopefully the team will be able to back up the fighting words with the performance to match.
