Wotte to lose out to British boss?

Mark Wotte could be replaced by a British manager if the Pinnacle Group led by Matthew Le Tissier take over Southampton FC.

The consortium’s 21 day exclusivity deal expires on Friday, and administrator Mark Fry has just two days to secure a deal with the Pinnacle group.

If a deal is met, Mark Wotte could be axed as Southampton manager, as Le Tissier along with the group have declared their interest in having a British boss to steer the club back to the Premiership.

Saints legend Le Tissier has met with the Dutchman to discuss the future of Southampton, and Wotte’s involvement next season has not been secured.
