The club have announced that the Brazilian forward has signed a one year extension keeping him at the club until 2014.
Speaking to saintsfc after all the paperwork was sorted, he said.
‘I’m very happy to have signed a new contract. To be able to stay here for another year to help the team was very important for me, and I think I have a big opportunity this season.’
Nigel Adkins said of the player.
‘I’m delighted that Guly is staying at the club. He has been a vital part of what we have achieved during the past two seasons. Guly will be an important member of our team in the Premier League.’
