The Saints are being linked with a move for Australian fullback Trent Sainsbury.
The 21 year old was included in the Australian U20 World Cup squad in Columbia and comes highly rated, with many expecting him to be called into the Australian full first team squad in the very near future.
As you can expect there is nothing concrete about this, and certainly no quotes, but Mauricio Pochettino said only a few days ago that the club were already working on potential summer targets and Sainsbury does seem to at least fit the bill of what you would be expecting us to look for given the ethos of the club.

It’s also being reported that Southampton are looking at a potential move for Walsall’s Will Grigg who has hit 18 goals so far this season.
The 21 year old Northern Ireland international has found the net nine times in his last seven appearances.
