Southampton claimed a point at Bramall Lane on Tuesday after a 0-0 draw at Sheffield United.

In a match of few chances Bradley Wright-Phillips, who put his effort over the bar, and loan signing Anthony Stokes, who had an effort cleared off the line by Joseph Mills, came closest to scoring for the visitors.

Oliver Lancashire was sent off two minutes from the end though for Southampton after collecting his second yellow card.
