New Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl got himself up and running properly at St Mary’s Stadium as we took a confidence-boosting victory over Arsenal on home soil last weekend.

A Danny Ings brace gave us the advantage on two occasions but Unai Emery’s side levelled each time through Henrikh Mkhitaryan and we made our greater chances on target count, as substitute Charlie Austin bagged the winner with give minutes remaining in the game.

Three points meant only our second win of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, but it put us outside of the relegation zone and that’s where we will aim to stay as we go into the Huddersfield Town game this weekend.

With a number of existing injuries at the club, midfielder Mario Lemina had a stomach issue and missed out on the last one, but during the game we also saw Nathan Redmond substituted and he’s now down as a doubt for the tie as well.

Ryan Bertrand remains the long-term doubt but whether our Austrian gaffer can welcome back those with a day left on their expected return timeframe or those with no timeframe, remains to be seen.
