Michael Svensson’s Southampton career looks set to be cut short.
The defender’s 3 year struggle with injury doesn’t look to be near an end and with his contract set to expire in the summer, his career at SMS looks over.
Burley told the Echo: ‘He had treatment over in Germany which doesn’t seem to have had the right effect as far as getting him training again.
‘We’ll see, we’ll probably get more scans and see a specialist for his advice’.
