Southampton have found themselves linked with Hull City’s talented starlet Jarrod Bowen for a while on the rumour mill and with the transfer window in full flow now, his future is being hotly contested according to reports, but we are certainly favourites with one bookie.
Southampton Linked With Another Hugely Rated Championship Attacker
The 22-year-old’s talent is obvious for all to see and he has a very good goal and assist return after making his breakthrough at the KCOM Stadium and Sky Bet via Hull Live have us in pole position over the weekend.
With there being some expectation that Bowen will make the step up to the Premier League this year having caught plenty of eyes with his performances, it’s not believed at this stage that Hull have received any firm offers but it can surely only be a matter of time, and given Hasenhuttl’s own words when it comes to the type of player he wants Southampton to sign this window, in terms of talent, age, development potential and sell on value, Bowen certainly has to feature on our list for me.
With Everton’s Ademola Lookman already featuring on the rumour mill given his association with Hasenhuttl from RB Leipzig – but easily commanding a fee of around the £25million mark, Bowen (albeit not the same type of attacker) has to be worth a punt at around the £15/20million mark.
