The 24-year-old midfielder has been a focal point in the Saints team since breaking into the first-team as a teenager.
And with the south coast side taking on Tottenham next in the Premier League, the club’s official Twitter account saw it fit to share the stunning free-kick Ward-Prowse produced against Spurs last season.
Some of Southampton fans on social media had fond memories of the goal and shared where they were when Ward-Prowse scored his stunning goal during a game in which the Saints won 2-1.
