Sofiane Boufal made his first start of the season against Fulham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, and the Moroccan impressed the fans, with plenty of them lauding him after the game.

The winger was the player to be interviewed after the win as he helped the Saints book their place in the Carabao Cup 3rd round, and the supporters loved seeing him in the public eye after he was sent out on loan to Celta Vigo last season.
So far this season the winger has been restricted to substitute appearances in the Premier League, but with the fans on his side and Nathan Redmond an injury concern ahead of the weekend, the Saints may get to see Boufal start against Manchester United.

No boufal no party! Great to hear….but the body language suggests he might not be comfortable with the message…..maybe he just needs a chance?

Boufal is obviously a fan favourite, and the Moroccan could prove to be a breath of fresh air if he’s given game time this season.
