“Really Disappointed” “Panic Buying” “We Need Him Out” – These Southampton Fans Continue To Debate 25 y/o’s Future As Report Links New Club With An Interest

|

This week there has been another development when it comes to what I can only describe as the saga of Mario Lemina and his future at Southampton this summer.

The Curious Case Of Mario Lemina Continues As Premier League Club Distance Themselves

With the 25-year-old player himself deciding that he wanted to move on from St Mary’s Stadium this summer, with aspirations that he could play much further up the Premier League table, as it stands the main clubs linked with an interest in him on the rumour mill have failed to make an offer or have slowly distanced themselves from having any real interest.

With the player not in manager Ralph Hasenhuttl’s plans and not involved in our pre-season campaign, we clearly would want to get a deal done sooner rather than later and Sky Sports have now claimed that Everton could be the latest club to have an interest, following the departure of Idrissa Gueye to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Daily Echo have further reported that we’d be happy with £20million and a small profit to see a deal go through quickly with the Goodison Park outfit, but whether the interest is firm remains to be seen.

Plenty of Southampton fans would be surprised to see it go through though judging from the reaction on social media.
