Burton Albion put another notch in their history books on Tuesday evening as they took an EFL Cup fourth round tie victory over Nottingham Forest at the Pirelli Stadium.
Knocking out the Championship opposition saw manager Nigel Clough guide them to the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time in their history so obviously Brewers fans had plenty to celebrate on the night.

Southampton fans can share in that though as on-loan Academy graduate Jake Hesketh got their third on the evening and despite Forest finding the net for a second time, they held on for the 3-2 victory. I say held on, the consensus seems to be they ran Forest ragged and any other result would’ve been a travesty.
The 22-year-old has now made 12 appearances for Burton, and his goal on the evening took him to two during his spell so far and having already impressed their fans, his efforts last night have just seen them take him to their hearts even more.
Unbelievable Jeff
