The international break has come at an ideal time for Southampton, who have so far endured an awful season.
Ralph Hasenhüttl insists he cannot afford to worry about his future as #SaintsFC manager:
“To be clear, I need all my energy to find answers to other questions.”
“Questions that are more focused on how we play and what we can do better and this is all I do the whole day.” pic.twitter.com/2JpzQstNtK

As the Premier League table shows, the Saints currently sit in 19th place after 12 games with the south coast winning just twice all season, yet unlike some managers in positions just a bit higher in the standings, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s job remains seemingly safe, and the Austrian boss seems to know this.
The former RB Leipzig manager admitted via Southampton Page that his mind is far away from whether or not he will be sacked from the club, yet some Saints supporters on social media were seemingly divided on if they wanted to see Hasnehuttl leave his position either on his own terms or by those higher up in the club.
Here’s what some Southampton fans had to say about Hasenhuttl’s comments on Twitter, with supporters divided on their manager’s interesting quotes…
It’s not just playing players in the right positions. They need belief and passion instilled into them. The need to know they are fighting for the club AND the fans!! They need to know that if they leave it all our on the pitch ut come up short we will be proud.

Sacking him is defo the worst thing Saints can do this season, he’s got no players that fit his style of play and none of them are passionate enough

Some supporters, though, weren’t too keen that Hasenhuttl would be able to turn Southampton’s fortunes around…

I would like to see Ralph more animated on the side line too….against Everton his body language was terrible..when Everton took the lead he looked defeated straight away with his head down!!
