Southampton fans got to see a few players leave them on deadline day 2 yesterday. Granted, most of them were loans, but the fans were still glad to see the back of some players, especially Wesley Hoedt.
#SaintsFC can confirm that @wesleyhoedt has today joined Belgian Pro League outfit @official_rafc on a season-long loan: https://t.co/QXZ7GFGbvk

The defender is now set to ply his trade for Royal Antwerp for the season and the Southampton fans are absolutely delighted to have got rid of him for at least the 2019/20 season.
The club have been deploying a centre-back partnership of Jannik Vestergaard and Jan Bednarek in the Premier League this season leaving little room for Hoedt, and the fans are delighted that he’s now gone.

The Saints are all delighted for the defender to be departing this season and will be hopeful that his exit can be made permanent next summer.
