As reported on the club’s official website, the Saints eliminated National League side Yeovil Town in extra-time to progress the third round of the FA National League Cup as Sophia Pharoah managed to secure a 2-1 win for Southampton, ensuring the club’s unbeaten run also remained intact.

It has been a progressive season so far for the women’s side that has seen a record attendance watch the club’s female team as well the Saints remain undefeated in all competitions so far, something Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men could only dream about with that branch of the club currently sitting 19th in the Premier League table.
