These Southampton fans have been drooling over what winger Sofiane Boufal did during a training session.
The club’s official Twitter account posted a video of the first-team squad doing a simple close-range passing exercise when the Morocco international pulled off an outrageous nutmeg with his heel on his teammate and wheeled away in celebration.
Boufal has been showered with praise since his £16m move from the Ligue 1 outfit Lille in 2016, and has scored five goals and provided five assists in 83 appearances.

Of course, we all know that this is not the only bit of intelligent play and ingenuity on the ball that we’ve seen from Boufal. His unbelievable dribbling ability to get around Watford’s Kiko Femenia had all of our mouths on the floor.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were salivating over the footage and made their feelings clear on social media. Two fans described his skill as a “beauty” and “so sweet”. Let’s hope he can replicate this when it really matters.
