Many Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to applaud Stuart Armstrong’s recent performances for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
The 28-year-old has featured heavily for the Saints following the temporary suspension of the 2019/20 campaign, with the team picking up 10 points from their first five games back which pushed them up to 12th in the standings. Having elapsed the infamous 40-point mark, they are mathematically safe and can now focus on a possible push for a place in the top 10.
From 16 starts this season, the Scottish right midfielder has scored four goals and provided three assists from 1515 minutes of action this season, as per Whoscored.
