Lots of Southampton fans have heaped praise on the Saints young defender Oludare Olufunwa after he signed a new two-year deal at the club.
The club’s official Twitter account revealed that the 18-year-old had committed his future to the South Coast side following a string of impressive performances.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has noticed this and allowed him to train with the first team, having scored once in five appearances during the current campaign.

The youngster gained huge support from the St Mary’s faithful after scoring a late winner during a Premier League 2 match against Wolves for the U23s, which got a lot of fans onside and tuned into what he is all about.
Because of this, supporters were excited for Olufunwa and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that this is “big news”, while another added that it was “so well deserved”.
